Car enthusiasts and collectors from the four corners are gathering in Hershey, Penn today and tomorrow for the largest automobile swap meet in the U.S. Since the first event in 2007, this two day auction has attracted huge crowds. Last year, it was standing room only in the auction house, with 90% of the lots being sold, and RM Auctions booked over 9.6 million dollars.
One of the reasons this auction has become so popular, is that the price point is different from some of the other high dollar auctions. During this car auction it is common for bidders to take home a much more affordable ride. For example, a 1973 Lincon Mark 4, which is being offered for $13,000.
Some of the other auto highlights include:
- 1896 Armstrong Phaeton
- 1915 Stanley Model 820 12-Passenger Mountain Wagon
- 1958 Mercedes-Benz 220 S Cabriolet
- 1930 Cadillac V-16 Sport Phaeton
- 1932 Pierce-Arrow Model 53
…and many more. For more information about this auction, visit RM Auctions
